Burken Ltd. was founded in 1998 with the aim of providing clients with solutions that are comprehensive, detailed and complex as a whole.
Initially we undertook reference work, then various tasks in the electrical industry. We discovered a niche in communication and power earthing, audited substations and transmission lines, and entered the market with a complete solution. We worked for MVM, MOL, ELMŰ and MÁV among others — until the Geovision business was added.
Our research led to a rapid ground-penetrating radar method: utility search, investigation of railway embankments and road layers, and detection of cables and foundations under substations.
In 2009 we established our Laservision division (laser scanning survey and intelligent 3D modelling), and with Gasvision we could also inspect gas-filled equipment to support environmental protection and reduce greenhouse impact.
